It's a well-known fact that women worry about their weight and men about their hair!
Indeed, even though some women are affected, baldness is primarily a male problem.
Hair loss typically appears between the ages of 25 and 35, but it can start later. Hair loss usually begins like this: a gradual receding hairline at the front, temples, or crown.
The main cause?
An excess of male hormones, known as "androgenic alopecia." This excess is hereditary; if your father is balding, you're very likely to be too.
But other factors can contribute to hair loss: stress or anxiety, an unbalanced diet, or frequent hair dyeing can all contribute to hair loss.
As for treatment, there are several solutions. If the hair loss is due to prolonged anxiety or an unbalanced diet, the problem will be resolved quickly. However, if it's a hormonal imbalance, specific techniques will be necessary.
First, there's the "Minoxidil" treatment, which is the most commonly used. This product slows hair loss and sometimes even stimulates regrowth. It's a lotion to be applied twice a day. But be warned, once you start, you can't stop; it's a lifelong treatment if you want it to be effective.
Remember to consult your doctor before starting any treatment, as allergies or side effects are sometimes possible.
