For people who suffer from heart failure, and there are many of them, a new campaign to encourage them to adopt good behaviors has just been launched in France by Health Insurance.

Four good reflexes to avoid worsening
Moving every day, weighing yourself regularly, following your treatment and keeping your medical appointments, limiting salt, these four good reflexes to adopt by people who suffer from heart failure are at the heart of this new campaign.

Heart failure affects more than a million people in France, especially seniors, and is the cause of numerous deaths each year. But it is also the leading cause of hospitalization for people over 65. A very serious illness therefore, often it is true, detected quite late, "but with which we can live longer in good health if we adopt the right behaviors" as explained by Marguerite Cazeneuve, the deputy director of the Cnam .

While two years ago the Cnam launched a campaign on the four warning signs of heart failure (shortness of breath, weight gain, swelling of the feet and ankles, excessive fatigue), this new campaign launched at The approach of World Heart Day on September 29 is therefore focusing this year on the good behaviors to adopt following the diagnosis.
